The only thing scarier than middle school? The demons hiding in it!
Twelve-year-old Lee-na is always humming melodies and scribbling song lyrics in her diary—even when she’s supposed to be sleeping, studying, or eating (hence the ramyeon stains!). More than anything, she dreams of becoming a K-pop idol. When she and her best friends form the trio SLaY and enter the Rival Idols competition, that dream suddenly feels within reach.
But then a rival boy band called YUM comes out of nowhere and seems determined to outshine them at every turn. Worst of all, Lee-na realizes the members of YUM might not be ordinary middle schoolers but . . . demons! As Lee-na’s own secret threatens to come to light and demons crawl out of the woodwork and across the pages of her diary, she and her friends discover that music is more powerful than they ever imagined. It just may be their only chance at survival.
K-Pop Diaries: Demons Ate My Homework is an action-packed, illustrated adventure filled with friendship, music, and confidence found in unlikely places.
